One of our directors Edmund Davis made an appearance at the Go Green Business Breakfast yesterday, talking about achieving greater energy efficiency through technology.
There were some great speakers at the event, including SolarSense discussing how Bristol Zoo is generating its own energy from solar panels, and Matt Gitsham from Sustain with some really useful, and above all practical, advice on how to save energy in your infrastructure. If you’re interested in ways of saving energy costs in your building, we’d strongly recommend taking a look at their web site http://www.sustain.co.uk/. Another interesting presentation came from Alan Cook at Bristol Water, who demonstrated the enormous savings – both to the environment and to your pocket – that can be made by properly monitoring your water usage.
In case you couldn’t make it, we’ve posted Ed’s slides for you below, or click the thumbnail (left) to download our handout about the three main ways you can reduce your costs, save energy and improve your business efficiency.
