If you continue to use Windows 7 after support has ended, your PC will still work but it will become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses, essentially because you will no longer receive software and security updates which are critical to it’s secure functionality. What’s really worth considering, is if people continue to use Windows 7 beyond the End-of-Life date, this could incentivise malicious users to target viruses and malware at Windows 7.

The Upgrade process is really quite simple, but if you have limited resources internally, it can be time consuming.
